Shy guy (MainCharacter/M.C.) goes to college, try to get involved some groups, and during one of the first nights there, gets hynotized. Girl there takes advantage while nobody is looking and trys to tell the M.C. to quit, etc. as he doesn't fit the clique she is trying to build that group into.
Plan kinda backfires, M.C. doesn't remember much from that first night, but looses his shyness, and jumps right in. Changes the group dynamics enough that the bitchy girl from before is pushed out, including by her boyfriend (rich families, both of them). Boyfriend becomes friend (possibly more?? as part of M.C's loose of shyness/gaining of Self-confidence. M.C. not a hetero- or homo-sexual, or even necessarily bi-sexual, but just a "sexual"?
Friend gets pulled by family (image, MC is too low-class for a friend, etc) from the school, ex-gf involved. Ex also tries to find hypnotist from before.
